Isuzu Sucks
|
I have an Isuzu Rodeo and it sucks. There have been at least 4 recalls on parts installed on it. The paint is peeling. The ABS brake light is on and the ABS brakes don't work. The starter went out after 4 years and to replace it you have to remove the exhaust. The dash clock went bad after 3 years, they want $300 to replace it. My fiancé bought a Rodeo even after I told her how many problems I've had. She hasn't had as many problems yet. One thing we have both had a problem with is the handle rod-retaining clip on the outside passenger handle breaking. I have much more to say. I will organize and update this site soon. My plans are to not only create a place where everyone can post there complaints, but also a tips and tricks for repairing common Isuzu problems. Do you have something to share? Hi Mike,
Funny that you have this site domain already. I received news today that my 2000 Trooper, which consumes 1.4 quarts of oil every 1000 miles, is not covered under the 10/120 powertrain warranty. When I bought the truck, it was a "program" vehicle with 14,000 miles on it but I was told the factory warranty would transfer. Now I am told that it only had a 5/60 warranty on the powertrain because it was previously titled (it has 80000 on the dial). It really appears that Isuzu "laundered" the vehicles they knew that would have problems by leasing them, taking them back, and then selling them to unwitting buyers such as me. I've thought about a class action suit of some kind, but that is probably wasting my time. I see you think like me in that I thought about buying a domain name and nailing Isuzu with freedom of speech.
Good Luck,
